We can’t say that we actually completely understood Elena, but we definitely saw that she’s absolutely independent and only does what she loves. She was born in the family of film director Boris Grigoryev, and kicked off her film career as a child, appearing in an episode of her father’s film. After that she got a role in Vladimir Grammatokov’s film ‘Hands Up’ (‘Ruki Vverkh’)! After graduating from acting school at the Moscow Art Theatre, she worked in theatre with directors Roman Viktyuk, Kirill Serebrennikov and others. She returned to the big screen with a role in Alexey Uchitel’s film ‘His Wife’s Diary’.
